After fumbling with an intermittent crank trigger problem last year we set a record at the El Mirage season opener.
We went 224.395 on a 211.260  record in E/FS

The US Air Force Academy Applied Mechanics Lab Director LtCol Richard Buckley has agreed to help us out with our quest for speed.  The Nebulous Theorem III will finally get in a wind tunnel.

Bob Carpenter from Carpenter Racing  joined the Nebulous  Theorem team today and will be providing all cylinder head work on our gsxr1000 cylinder heads. Bob’s 1630cc Hayabusa motors are making 280 HP !!! ….. nobody makes more power than Bob. Check his web site out http://www.carpenterracing.com

There were 148 entries:   101 cars and 47 bikes.

There were 18 records:    7 bikes and 11 cars.

Saturday start meet:  07:50, end:  15:00, runs 174.  Moderate tail winds.

Sunday   start meet:  08:03, end:  13:54, runs 147.    Heavy head winds.

There were 5 spins, 14 turn outs and 2 turn ins, and 2 guests.

Everyone had the opportunity to run 4 times.  Altitude Density average 3200 feet.

The courses were not too good – too loose.

One candidate for the “Dirty” 2 Club.

We had an engine expire shortly after leaving the line

There were 16 records:    3 bikes (1 pending) and 13 cars.

There were 130 starts:  78 cars and 52 bikes.

Start Meet:  07:53, End Meet:  15:27

There were 1 spin, 7 turn outs and 6 no calls, and 3 guests

Everyone had the opportunity to run 2 times.  Altitude Density average xx00 feet.

The temperature was in the 80s with heavy cross winds after 10am.

The course was not too good – too loose.
